Specialising in the conference, wedding and event industry, we work exclusively with major resorts, event centres and city hotels to grow revenue and profits sustainably year on year.

SYG has worked with more than 30 clients in New Zealand, Australia and around the world including 5 star international hotel chains and boutique hotels. Our fees represent a fraction (usually between 5% and 15%) of the profit growth our clients achieve, delivering a return on investment few can match.

Who are we?

The founding directors behind Sales Yield Growth are

Lauren Cummings, a former hotel general manager, food and beverage manager and a sales professional with a proven track record in conference and event sales, and

Malcolm Bean, a veteran of the hotel and resort management industry with a professional background in sales.

 
Together, we have more than 39 years experience in the hospitality business across every part of the industry, from operations to general management, but our main focus has always been conference and event sales.

We founded SYG in 2008 to provide specialist performance coaching to event, wedding & conference venue operators. Our success is due to our unorthodox but highly effective approach to boosting client sales, which involves a six-month executive coaching program.
